Privacy policy

1. Who we are

BEES Hit is the owner and developer of WEED WAR (“we”, “us”) and the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect

• Account data — your email address, display name, preferred language, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Gameplay data — your decks, match history, match actions, and rating.
• Device data — push-notification tokens, so we can notify you about your turns and matches. We do not collect advertising identifiers.
• Technical logs — server logs and error reports used to keep the service running and secure.
• Consent records — which version of this policy and of the terms of service you accepted, when, and in which language you read them.

3. What we use it for

• Creating and securing your account (sign-in, password reset, and email verification).
• Running WEED WAR: matchmaking, matches, tournaments, and rankings.
• Sending gameplay-related push notifications (you can disable them in your device settings).
• Preventing abuse and keeping the service secure.

We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party ads.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process account and gameplay data to perform our contract with you by providing WEED WAR. We process technical logs based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. We keep consent records to comply with our legal obligation to demonstrate that consent was given. Where another legal basis applies, we will explain it at the point of collection.

5. Retention

We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal identifiers (email address, display name, profile photo, and password) are permanently erased from your account record. An anonymized record of past matches may remain because it forms part of other players’ match history. Consent records are kept without personal identifiers as proof that consent was given. Technical logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing.

You can delete your account at any time: in the app, under your profile, or through the account portal on our website if you no longer have the app installed. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

For any other request, contact privacy@weed-war.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Where data is processed

The service is hosted on servers within the European Union (Hetzner). If data is transferred outside the EU, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place.

8. Age

WEED WAR is not directed at children. The game has a mature age rating. Do not create an account if you are below the age required by your app store’s rating for this title.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version and ask you to accept it the next time you open the game. You can always read the version you accepted, and the current one, in the app.
